The Police/Fire/EMS fellowship would gladly accept any offers of snacks for our monthly meetings (including but not limited to doughnuts!). More than anything, we covet your prayers as we seek to reach men and women who work in a demanding, stressful and dangerous job day in and day out, many being an incident away from eternity with no real knowledge of Jesus’ love and saving power. Periodic cards of encouragement to individual officers and firefighters would be most appreciated, as would organized efforts such as periodic visits to fire or police stations with snacks given in the name of our Lord. |

POLICE, FIRE, EMS Fellowship |

The Police/Fire/EMS fellowship seeks to reach two primary goals. First, to provide an atmosphere of fellowship for those engaged in law enforcement, fire service or emergency medical services where sharing with their brothers and sisters can freely occur; where we can encourage each other from an understanding perspective and where we can pray together, study the Word together and learn more about how the Lord would have us fulfill our mission of public service. Secondly, we exist to be a focal point of reaching others in the police, fire or EMS services with the Good News of Jesus Christ. |
Mission Statement |
The Police/Fire/EMS Fellowship convenes monthly at Dayspring Church of God for a time of prayer, Bible study, sharing and encouragement. Between meetings, members of the fellowship seek individually to both identify other police officers/firefighters/EMS personnel at their departments or others who are believers, and would like to join with us at our fellowship meetings and to share the Gospel with fellow officers and firefighters by our words, our actions and by sharing copies of specially printed New Testaments. |
Members of the fellowship all serve, or have served, in some capacity with a law enforcement, fire or EMS service. This can be full-time career status, part-time, volunteer or retired. We have no specific attendance requirements as shift work and other commitments make it difficult to attend all meetings. We see the meetings as more of a “filling station,” with most of the actual ministry taking place between meetings in the fire stations, police cars and “on the street.” |
